About MOWBC

Founded in 2008 by BC Clark, the Metro Omaha Women’s Business Center (MOWBC) is a leading advocate for women-owned businesses and professional women across the metro area. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and empower women by providing access to business education, mentorship, networking, and entrepreneurial resources.

Over the past 17 years, more than 5,600 women have benefited from our programs, including:

About the Masquerade Ball and Auction

The Masquerade Ball is our premier annual fundraising event, celebrating women entrepreneurs and raising funds for our Start‑Up Assistance Grants. These grants help emerging women business owners launch or expand their ventures.

Our first Ball awarded a $1,000 grant to help a woman build her website. Today, we have awarded over $32,000 in Start‑Up Assistance.

The evening includes:

Networking with community leaders and entrepreneurs
