Join us the phenomenal women business owners, they own Blair Freeman https://blairfreeman, a company with A Bold Approach Construction and Real Estate Services. They will share with us their story and give their perspective on black history and how they may have been impacted by women in business before them.

Ashley
Ashley has spent a significant amount of time in the real estate development world while helping to start one of the now largest real estate development companies in Omaha.  As Executive Vice President of White Lotus Group for 15 years, Ashley led over 450mm in development and construction.  In August of 2018, with the full support of White Lotus Group, Ashley decided to step down as EVP and cofounded a 100% woman owned/100% minority owned Real Estate and Construction company, Blair Freeman.
As a child, her interest in real estate was first sparked when she became fascinated with the differing conditions of real estate in her North Omaha Neighborhood. Her fascination led her to want a career as someone that is able to impact the face of real estate in Omaha.  She majored in real estate/land use economics and investment finance at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and Omaha and earned her BS.
Ashley believes in giving back to the community and City through service.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Omaha Public Library Foundation, CREW Metro Omaha and was newly elected to the Greater Omaha Chamber and WCA Boards. She is the Chairman for Girls Inc.’s Girls Nite Out, is a Girls Inc. mentor, voting member of I Be Black Girl (IBBG) and a member of the Omaha CRE Summit Planning Committee.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, enjoys participating in outdoor activities including hiking, biking and camping, is an avid reader, sports fan and a passionate advocate for women’s empowerment.  She is married to Kristopher Kuhn and has three beautiful children Jayla, Alivia and Kris.

Maranda
Maranda has spent a significant amount of time in real estate and International finance. Maranda founded a real estate investment company focused on rebuilding communities. She centered the investment company around preservation of high-risk real estate in blighted and sub-standard areas. In August of 2018, Maranda cofounded a 100% woman owned construction and real estate services company, Blair Freeman.
Maranda saw first-hand the economic impact of real estate on communities. She recognized how important it was to stabilize real estate assets in an area to counteract future decline. Maranda earned her BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance at The University of Nebraska Lincoln.
Community involvement is something Maranda is passionate about. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the North 24th St Business Improvement District, Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP), Abide and the Advisory Council for Habitat for Humanity. She is a voting member of I Be Black Girl Omaha (IBBG), CREW Metro Omaha and The Omaha Chapter of The LINKS Inc. Maranda is also a Girls Inc. Mentor and actively serves at Bridge Church Omaha.
In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with family and friends. Maranda is married to her college sweetheart Titus and they have five children Titus II, Traeson, Tucker, Marlee and Tobias.
